Sayarflux Technologies ("Sayarflux", "we", "us", or "our") builds and operates software platforms including the Sayarflux ISP Billing & ONU Management System, the Sayarflux Property Management Software, and related products under development such as a POS & Inventory system and a ride-hailing application. We also provide custom software development, integration, and maintenance services for clients. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information across these products and services.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on which Sayarflux product or service you or your organization uses, we may collect:
- Account & business information: names, emails, phone numbers, business/company details of ISP operators, property managers, and their staff who use our platforms.
- Subscriber & tenant data: on behalf of our ISP and property management clients, we may process end-user data such as subscriber names, contact details, service plans, PPPoE/hotspot credentials, and tenant/lease records.
- Payment information: transaction records from M-Pesa and other mobile money integrations, including amounts, phone numbers, and payment references. We do not store full mobile money PINs or banking credentials.
- Network & device data: RADIUS/AAA authentication logs, MikroTik router data, ONU/ONT and OLT device identifiers, and related network diagnostics necessary to deliver billing and network management features.
- Technical data: IP addresses, device/browser information, and usage logs collected automatically when you use our websites or platforms.
- Communications: messages sent through our contact form, email, or WhatsApp when you reach out to us.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain our SaaS platforms and custom-built software.
- To process subscriptions, invoices, and mobile money payments.
- To authenticate and manage network subscribers via RADIUS, MikroTik, and ONU/OLT integrations.
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- To monitor, secure, and improve platform performance and reliability.
- To communicate service updates, maintenance notices, or changes to our terms and policies.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with:
- Payment processors (e.g., Safaricom M-Pesa) strictly to process transactions.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers necessary to run our platforms.
- Our clients (ISP operators, property managers) who own the subscriber/tenant data processed through our systems — Sayarflux acts as a data processor on their behalf in these cases.
- Authorities, where required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
4. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted backups, SSL/TLS encryption in transit, role-based access control, and audit logging on our platforms. No system is completely secure, and we continuously work to improve our safeguards.
5. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Clients may request deletion of their account data, subject to legal and operational requirements (e.g., financial records retention).
